APPLE Accreditation Application

Instructions

APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) is a national early learning program accreditation that recognizes early learning and education centers for operating high quality early learning programs. Established in 1999, APPLE is the largest accrediting body in the state of Florida with nearly 800 accredited programs nationwide. APPLE was developed by owners and operators of early learning centers and is grounded in the unique perspective of the business of childcare. APPLE is accepted as one of Florida’s Gold Seal Quality Care programs. The Gold Seal program provides additional benefits including ad valorem tax relief, a sales tax exemption on educational supplies and materials, and an increase in reimbursement for subsidized care.

APPLE Accreditation is devoted to helping programs reach their full potential through providing streamlined resources, a dedicated support team, continuous professional development, and a respectful partnership to promote success. We realize that each early care and education program is unique and serves an equally distinctive community. APPLE Accreditation celebrates these differences and believes that the process of achieving accreditation should be an opportunity for a program to highlight those aspects of the business that make it special.

On behalf of the entire team, thank you for considering APPLE Accreditation. We are honored to be a partner with you in achieving the goals you set for your program and look forward to working with you during the accreditation journey and beyond.

APPLE Applications received on or after January 1, 2024, are required to use the 2024 Version of the APPLE Standards.
